The eponymous Geodesic Dome is the most unique feature of the property, but the stylish main house is the epitome of modern desert chic.
The moment you walk in, you’ll feel at home thanks to the subtle sophistication of minimalist modern flair in the comfort of the lounge area. Earth tones, luxury finishes geometric patterns and natural fibers evoke a fusion of desert roots and discerning design.
Dual skylights provide plenty of natural light into the open concept floor plan which opens up even further to connect you seamlessly to the private yard.

OUTDOORS:
The private outdoor oasis consists of a Pergola with misters for hot afternoons and Edison lights for cool desert nights. Test your skills with the outdoor games. Take in some rays on the chaise lounge chairs & hammock. Enjoy a sunset dinner and gather around the sunken fire pit to share stories and laughs.
The polyhedron geodesic dome is a space to recenter and recharge. It's perfect at any time of day or night for quiet connection or meditation thanks to the climate control and ambient lighting. Easily re-configure the comfy poufs and pillows to how you want for an energizing yoga session or a peaceful meditation.
Fire up the hot tub with two motors, massaging lounge chair, foot massage jets, and waterfall to relax your tired muscles after a vigorous hike up Ryan Mountain or through Lost Palms Oasis in the National Park (5 minutes away!). Then curl up in the dreamcatcher chair.
SLEEPING:
The bedrooms feature luxurious linens, memory foam mattresses, earth toned accent walls and art inspired by the surrounding area. All bedrooms are located on the West wing of the home past the hallway with the enclosed glass cactus garden, allowing for the early sleepers to rest while the rest of the group convenes in the common areas.

Turn the LED disco ball on while streaming your favorite music video from the Apple TV above the electric wall-mounted fireplace for a groovy ambience. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEIGHBORS! We are in a residential neighborhood with locals who reside on both sides of our home. Please follow our Good Neighbor Policy of no outside noise after 10pm and before 8am. Guests must refrain from any outdoor music, noise or other disruptions that may cause a disturbance to the community during quiet hours. Failure to respect quiet hours after an initial warning may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund and/or a fine from the county.
FAMILY & PETS:
We are family and dog friendly! Children 2 years old and above must be included as part of the total guest count. We have a fully fenced backyard for your pets to run freely. Please note that small dogs may be able to pass through small openings in some areas between the fence and ground! Dogs are accepted with your agreement of our pet rules. We will request a $75 cleaning & companion fee per pet.
EXTRA GUESTS:
Guest count must be the same as on the reservation. Keep in mind there is an added $50/night per guest over the 4th to cover extra cleaning and amenity usage. Any day guests must be approved prior to arrival. Day guests must leave by 10pm. Children are considered as part of the total guest count.
DOME:
The dome is not meant for sleeping in. Due to its clear material, it can show dirt easily if there were strong winds. We wash the outside often, but please note that this unique space is delicate.
VENDORS
Nexxus pest control will be coming to the property to spray the exterior of the home on the first Friday of every month between 11am-4pm. They will not need to enter the home for any reasons.
NO SMOKING:
No smoking or burning candles. This is a non-smoking home and dome. Any and all smoking should be kept outdoors at least 15 feet away from any exterior doors and dome. There will be a $250 charge for anyone not honoring this guideline.
VERIFICATION: Bookings are protected by TRUVI. After confirmation, guests must complete identity verification (takes less than a minute) before arrival. Check-in details will be shared after this step. Guests may also need to agree to House Rules or Terms & Conditions.
CHECK-IN FORM: Before check-in instructions, guests must fill out a form via our link to help coordinate our ground team.
LACK OF CELLULAR COVERAGE:
You will notice that cell service is hard to come by in our secluded desert setting. Don't worry—consider it an invitation to unplug and fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty around you. We recommend planning ahead to make the most of this serene escape from the digital world.
Please Note: We are adding a new pool! There will be on-site construction until Jan 23, 2026. No construction will take place during the available dates. All available dates have been carefully selected to ensure a peaceful experience. Current pricing already reflects a special discount to account for the temporary construction area on-site, which may include parked machinery. The backyard amenities will still be available for use.

Great place, the best location to access Joshua Tree.
I checked in at 5pm, and the dome did not have any electricity. I asked the host about it, and the host said someone would come out to the property to check it. After waiting five hours, nobody came, and all they said was "a line was cut accidentally yesterday." The dome is a significant feature of this airbnb and without electricity the lights and heater would not turn on. It is not the guests fault for a line being cut accidentally, and it should've been dislcosed to me prior to my arrival. There is also a major construction in the backyard which takes the whole half side. It is a safety hazard because theres nothing to guard from anyone falling in. I did not feel safe to let my child play in the backyard because of it. Honestly, the pile of dirt and hole in the backyard was unpleasant to look at while visiting Joshua tree for its beauty. These things impacted our whole trip and didn't match expectations.
Loved the location in terms of proximity to the national park. I really liked the design of each bedroom, and the house felt very clean! Lots of different games the kids could play with and the adults very much enjoyed the pool room. Some of us even took a morning stroll to Joshua Tree Coffee Co. every morning for our morning exercise and it would be so quiet and serene. We would definitely consider coming back to this Airbnb if we were ever in the area again!

The vibe inside the house was great, decorative, and lots of fun amenities. We had our 1 year old with us and he had a blast. The view from the dome wasn’t really clear. It was really fuzzy and cloudy but it’s still a great experience if you’re just looking to hang out in there.
