The driveway accommodates 4-5 cars, with additional street parking available in front of the home. Nearby, you'll find an array of fantastic restaurants and parks, perfect for leisurely outings. Plus, popular destinations like Longwood Gardens and the University of Delaware are just a short drive away, ensuring convenient access to entertainment and cultural attractions.
The house was spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The A/C kept us comfortable. We were 9 adults so some of us had to use the air mattresses...got the job done. There were lots of chairs when sitting around in the kitchen but there wasn't one big table we could all sit at. The biggest table was for 6 people in the dining room. All in all a very pleasant stay and we were very happy.
Our stay in Hockessin was great. This home is convenient and a short drive from shops and activities in town, making it a great base of operations for our stay. The games in the basement were fun, and there are lots of hangout spaces for a larger travel group. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend Jeff's place to others!

Beautiful place & great location. Everyone had plenty of room. Couldn’t be more perfect!
First impressions speak a thousand words. Upon arriving, the outside of the house and grounds were not maintained. When opening the door, things only got worse. Very strong musty odor, in most of the closets “traps” were set to capture the moisture so the owner knew of the problem. House not maintained inside. Pictures on website do not reflect reality. Sinks in bathrooms did not drain. Beds were ok and enjoyed the pool table. I never leave reviews but it was worth to do for others to consider. Very disappointed… I know rates were higher due to UD graduation but wish the owner would invest in this property.
This house is very spacious with enough room for everyone; we had 6 adults, 2 kids and a baby. However, it is a very old house and needs *a lot* of maintenance. * The entire house has an odor * There are many outlets that don't work * The hood vent in the kitchen doesn't work, which is not ideal with a gas stovetop * There is no working light in the laundry room, which is in a dark and cold partially unfinished basement. The house has potential but is not well kept.
